The ORIETG® series EX3 thickness gauge is a new generation of explosion-proof handheld thickness gauge. It uses electromagnetic ultrasonic EMAT sensor technology and features both ultrasonic thickness measurement and eddy current coating thickness measurement functions. It is a non-contact thickness measurement instrument that does not require a sound coupling agent, capable of measuring the thickness of metals or ferromagnetic materials and the thickness of surface coatings.

  • ► The instrument adopts electromagnetic ultrasonic EMAT principle, no need to polish the surface of the workpiece and no coupling agent during the inspection process;

    ► Detectable workpiece materials include carbon steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium, titanium and other conductor materials;

    ► The instrument consists of a pen-type host and intelligent terminal (explosion-proof tablet PC, explosion-proof mobile phone), the pen-type host and intelligent terminal through the Wifi wireless connection;

    ► The instrument has both electromagnetic ultrasonic and eddy current thickness measurement composite function, the maximum coating thickness measurement can be achieved 5mm;

    ► The probe and host are integrated, the probe can be replaced and easy to operate;

    ► The product has two functions, A scan and B scan, of which B scan must be used with B scan holder;

    Customisable Intelligent Quick Detection Function: marking detection points through NFC patch and QR Code, quickly identifying the points through terminal equipment, automatically uploading measurement data to the cloud database, and realising automated and efficient detection and operation and maintenance technology.
